We have a very theatrical family. Both Michael and I were Thespians in high school and took part in numerous plays and musicals. While I always landed a part in the chorus, Michael kept scoring the lead! Hmmm...guess you can tell which one of us is more talented and extroverted!
And now four of our five children have also developed a love for the theater (Jameson is quite theatrical himself, just a little to young to perform!).
This past weekend, Lauren and Justin both graced the BGHS stage with their dancing and chorus roles in "The Music Man!" The entire cast and crew did a great job! It was so fun to watch them performing with their friends!

We thought we were going to take a theater sabbatical this summer. But the day after the show closed, Justin, Logan and Ethan auditioned for, "The Phantom Toll Booth." All three of them got parts in this Horizon Youth Theatre production. Justin will be playing, "The Senses Taker," Ethan will be a part of the "Demon Chorus" (hope he doesn't learn any new tricks!) and Logan will be playing the lead character, Milo!
So the next several weeks will be full of end-of-the-year exams, parties, dance competitions, baseball games and rehearsals for yet another show.
I will be eager to see my boys grace the stage once again June 11th-13th!
