Thanksgiving with Family

We have traditionally spent the Thanksgiving holidays with Michael's extended family. This year, we were unable to make the trek down south for the larger family gathering. So we spent a quiet (somewhat with a toddler) evening at home. I made the turkey and stuffing and Lauren made most of the other food: homemade cranberry sauce, corn casserole, pumpkin cheesecake and apple pie. It was a joint effort to finish up with the mashed potatoes and gravy. And Logan graced us with green bean casserole! Thanksgiving sure is less stressful with so much help in the kitchen!

The day after Thanksgiving, Michael's brother, Doug, and his family, along with their Aunt Terry, came to visit. It was so encouraging for the adults to "catch up" on life and for the cousins to get 24 hours together!
Despite the busy-ness of our lives, we have so much to be thankful for!
